My 6 hit 36k yesterday and my wife’s CX-5 hit 62k today. It is a 2013 Sport model.
We bought it brand new (12 miles on it) in December 2012. It has been and continues to be a great lil’ trucklet.
It’s only front-wheel-drive but is a beast in the snow. It has been very reliable, with the only non-maintenance issue being a software update being needed for the TCM. Other than that, all we have done to it is brakes, tires, and a battery.
Averages close to 30 MPG, has plenty of room for us and our kid, and is rather easy to work on (all things considered).

I adore my ‘15 6. I have somewhere north of 50K on it and it’s running great. The wife’s CX3 only has about 15 on it in the same time, but she loves it too.

If I was single and childless, I’d 100% get an all-wheel-drive CX-3. I love the way they look.

I’ll jump into this Mazda owner’ s love-fest:
I just hit 60K on my 2012 5 6MT. It had 129 miles on it when I took delivery (dealer’s demo/loss-leader) and I put on 45K in just three years. Thanks to a shorter commute (and use of the squadron’s E150 to go halfway across the state to teach my classes ) it took me 3.5 years to put on the next 15K. I had the motor mounts replaced under warranty, and there was that oh so dangerous recall for a potentially failing hatch strut, otherwise it’s been absolutely trouble-free.
I love this car...

I’m married and childless, I think ours is great. The one at my track is cool too.

Every car seems to look good when you cover it in racing- related decals. I’d love to put some larger, darker wheels on my 5, but I like the cheaper replacement cost and more comfortable ride that the stock 16 inchers provide.
I’m single, and to the best of my knowledge, childless, and yet I rock a three-row minivan (albeit one with a 6MT) . I don’t know what that says about me, and obviously none of those “What does your car say about you” personality quizzes have me figured out, pigeonholing almost all minivan drivers as family-oriented types with lots of offspring that have dozens of activities they need to be shuttled to and from. Nope, nope and nope...

I thought you gave up on Mazda after the warranty claim thing?

I wanted to, believe me. But, both cars just keep on being good cars (aside from the random upholstery issue in mine). And, they’re so easy to work on compared to other newer vehicles. Plus, the CX-5 is paid off (has been since 2014), so it isn’t going anywhere. Not having a car payment on it is nice.

I just stopped into the Mazda show room for a gander today. It’s right next to my Kia dealer. The ND RF in red with tan interior got me a little heated. For the rest of the line, power is up and interior quality is up. I love these cars.

I love my ‘15 6 as well! I actually just hit 110k myself today and it has been a great car. So far just oil changes, brakes, a couple tire changes and my 100k tune-up. This car has inspired me by showing that it’s not just Honda and Toyota that will last, Mazda is definitely a long lasting brand as well! Couldn’t ask for a better vehicle.

I bought a 2013 CX-5 in June of 2018 with 60k miles. I’ve put 30k more miles on it just eight months! Not a single problem!

I worry I sound like a salesman when I talk about Mazda, my 2011 3 2.5 6mt hatchbackwas purchased new by m e, is about to pass 130k miles and hasn't even required brake pads yet. Regular oil changes with Mobil 1 since new, k&n air filter since new, coolant and transaxle oil changes have been it and it runs great. Averaged 27.5 mpg on a Montana road trip a couple years ago driving all the highways at 85 with 2 adults, 2 dogs and luggage. I am very excited for the new 3 and the turbo cx 5

*clears throat* I’m a couple hundred miles shy of 174k on my Mazda3. Only issue I’ve had is I had to replace the clutch master cylinder because it developed a slight leak.

We love our 2016 cx5 and Mazda . Sadly for Mazda, the auto world changed on Thursday with Tesla’s announcement of the $35k model 3. Mazda needs an EV to survive.

My 2006 Mazda 3 has 331,000 miles on it...and will be replaced tomorrow with a 2019 CX-5 .

2013 CX-5 sport Gray with 161000 miles on it and all we had to change is a battery and a brake switch which I did myself in about 20 minutes. I highly recommend it to anyone. My only regret it is when test-driving it initially I tried out the manual transmission and fell in love with it. It's so much fun to drive. It's a shame that Mazda only offers it on the base car.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I had to give up a bunch of toys and gadgets to get the manual in my 5, but I’ve had them before in more expensive vehicles (along with the repair bills) and don’t really miss them.
But with the new 3, it sounds like Mazda is doing the opposite, namely putting the manual on the more expensive variants. I’m not sure how I feel about this - I actually like the simplicity and light weight of a base-model vehicle, but do miss some of the luxury features.

I have a Mazda 2 which is sold as the Toyota Yaris and despite its low low price it’s damn fun to drive and completely reliable. It doesn't feel cheap at all. I’m getting 32.3 mpg in mostly city driving.

My 2017 6GT just hit 32k.
The wife's 2011 CX-7 is over 125,000 miles. Once we get to 200k she gets a new CX9 GT.

I just traded in my 64,000 mile (I put 42k miles on it in less than 3 years) for a 2014 CX5 Touring with 72k miles. So far I am still more than impressed with the durability, driving dynamics, and the fuel efficiency of the modern Mazda Skyactive vehicles.
